USEFUL POKER SITES

StudentPokerPro.com

When I was learning how to play poker, there were a number of sites that I found to be very useful in helping me to further my game and take it to the next level. There are a great number of sites offering strategy and infromation for free, but the following are the best that I have come across. I hope that you find them as useful as I did (and still do).

The Poker Bank

www.thepokerbank.com
The Poker Bank offers a great variety of Texas Holdem articles to help you improve your no-limit game. The articles are well written and can be sorted into categories for beginner, intermediate and advanced players. The strategy will help to patch up any holes you might have in your game, as well as introduce you to new concepts that you may not have come across before.

Beat The Fish www.beatthefish.com
Beat The Fish is another quality site that offers a multitude of well-written and nicely organised poker articles. The site offers a number of general poker articles as well as some great sit and go, tournament and cash game strategy articles.
Beat The Fish www.toptexasholdem.com
Top Texas Holdem has strategy for the Limit version of Texas Holdem as well as the No-Limit version. The site does not offer individual articles addressing different areas of the game, but instead has handy guides on how to play your cards at each stage of the hand. This information is great for an overview of how to think and how you should play your cards depending on the strength of your hand.
