SHEFFIELD UNIVERSITY SUSOP STUDENT POKER TOURNAMENT

The Shieffield University Poker society is holding its SuSOP for students for the second year running. The event will take plave over two days, on the weekend starting 19th April and finishing on the 20th April 2008.

There will just be the one tournament taking place at the Napoleons Casino in Owlerton, with a £50 buy-in plus £5 fee. The tournament will start with registration at 4.00 PM (with actual tournament expected to start at 5.00 PM) on the saturday, and is expected to finish at 10.00 PM on the sunday. A free buffet is being made available to players on the saturday.

There is currently no added money to the prize pool, however, with the £50 entry fee there is little doubt that the event will make a decent amount of money to be shared out amongst the winners.

The tournament has a slower structure than most, with a 10K starting stack and 45 minute blinds. This will allow for more deep stack poker to be played for longer, as with 25-50 starting blinds each player will be 200BBs deep at the start.
