Throughout the year, there are always a number of tournaments both live and online that are organised specifically for student poker players. These tournaments are created just for students, with many having extra money added to the prize pool by sponsors to help increase the amount of money that players can win. Student tournaments provide a great opportunity to get out and about, and get to meet other students that share a similar passion for the game as you do. The tournaments are also well designed so that it is affordable and well timed around the student calendar, so that the majority of students to be able to take part.
So to keep up to date with all of the student tournaments that are coming up, we are providing a rolling list that will be updated as soon as we here of any new tournaments that are being organised just for the student poker player.

The WaSOP is in its 4th year, and is being set up and hosted by the Warwick University poker society.
